Last weekend we hiked up to Lone Peak in the Wasatch Range. This ended up to be quite epic hike for me. We hiked up the cherry creek canyon route to get there. It seems as though no one really has set a good map to get to the top. It seems as though that would not be too difficult but maybe its because it is so gorgous and it is nice not having too many people up there? Anyway it was 16 miles round trip. We stayed up there for 2 nights. We went there with the intention of rock climbing so our packs or should I say Kelly's pack was pretty heavy. We ended up doing one of the coolest 5-8 climbs ever. It was the Lowe route. Most of the time you climb a multi pictch 5-8 and it really sucks for part of the climb. This one was stellar all the way up with lots of variety. We would have gotten more climbing in if I hadn't gotten sick. I recently found out I can no longer eat wheat, yeast, chocolate, egg whites or soy. That Sucks! I think maybe I will just have to take benadril so I can still eat some food...
